The production process of outdoor LED headlamps in the headlamp source manufacturer usually includes multiple inspection processes, and the key control of these processes is crucial to ensure the quality and safety of outdoor headlights.

From the perspective of production process, this paper will discuss in detail the inspection process in outdoor headlamp production and the need for key pipe control process.

一、The production process of the outdoor LED headlamps

1. The first step of outdoor headlamps production is Raw material: such as plastic materials, lamp beads, batteries, circuit boards, headlamp belts, wires, screws and so on. The quality of raw materials directly affects the quality of the final outdoor headlamps, so it is necessary to strictly check in the procurement process, select reliable suppliers, and conduct quality inspection of raw materials.

All of our raw materials need to be tested after entering the factory to ensure the quality of the materials. Our commonly used plastic raw materials is ABS, PC, etc., our raw materials are all new, mainly environmentally friendly materials.

2. After the raw material test was passed, we entered the production process. The production of the headlamp shell plastic parts is the first step in the headlamp production process. The plastic particles with the injection molding machine to hit the shell of the headlamp, the ratio of plastic parts should be completely in accordance with the proportion, including the size, set the color, to ensure that the plastic parts are no defects, high quality, in line with the product specifications.

We currently have 4 injection molding machines with a daily output of up to 2000sets per day.

After finishing the plastic parts, we have a special area to store them and check them.  Inspection will be done during each step of production.

3. for headlamp production. Check the integrity and accuracy before welding the headlamp beads, batteries and circuit boards.  One end of the blue and black wire is welded to the positive (+) and negative  (-) poles of COB, the other end is welded to the COB + and COB-point of PCB, thered line (positive -electrode) and the positive electrode of PCB, and the battery black line (negative electrode) and the negative electrode of PCB. When using parts, we must first check before use, to ensure that the surface of each part is clean, there must not be any bad affecting the appearance. Positive and negative poles can not be welded back, the position of 4 wires can not be welded wrong, welding should be firm, there can be no false welding, tack welding.

Obviously, this is a rechargeable COB headlamp as an example, if it is dry battery headlights do not need to weld the battery. But the principle is the same.

Assembly and debugging of headlams: The assembly and debugging of headlights is a process of assembling all components into a complete outdoor headlamp and debugging. Headlamp assembly requires the front shell assembly and PCB assembly, and then the back cover sealing ring, assemble the battery buckle plate to complete the assembly. Before assembly, it is necessary to check all parts clean and tidy, without scratch of headlamp cup and COB; pay attention to the direction of assembly, screw tightness, not smooth and loose;

Take the rechargeable COB headlamp as an example, buckle the COB into the lamp cup, and then buckle the welded PCB and lamp cup group into the shell assembly, press the plate into the shell assembly,and fix the whole component with screws.

Put the sealing ring into the back cover card slot, stick with 3M double-sided tape in the middle of the pressing plate to stick the battery on the pressing plate, and then tighten the back cover with screws. The assembly of the headlights is then complete.

5. Aging test: Aging inspection is to check the function inspection of the assembled headlamp, namely the charge and discharge function of the headlamp. Only the headlights with normal charge and discharge functions can be packaged. The assembled headlamp will first discharge. After completing the discharge, it will enter the aging function chamber and start the aging test.

6. Finished product inspection: the completion of the aging test of the products must be done after the finished product inspection can be arranged to enter the packaging, including the appearance of the headlamps, brightness, etc.

7. Packaging of finished products: our packaging materials are also diverse, which can be customized according to customer requirements. There are white box, custom color box, kraft paper box, display box, double bubble shell, single bubble shell and so on. All packing materials need to be inspected before entering the packaging. In the packaging process, attention should be paid to check the correct packaging material, the integrity of the surface printing and the product correspondence.

8. Quality inspection after completion: We have special quality inspection personnel for quality inspection, including: product appearance, performance, accessories, packaging, etc., and submit a complete quality inspection report and bulk cargo photos to customers. All the products that have not been inspected are not allowed to be shipped, and only the qualified headlamps that have passed through the inspection can leave the factory.

What are the requirements of the headlamp manufacturers for their employees

Headlamp manufacturers' requirements for employees can vary according to different positions and the size of the company. However, the following are some common requirements and important positions

1. Workers:

Skill requirements: have basic headlamp production process and operation skills, such as headlamp assembly, headlamp welding, headlamp board mounting, etc., have safety awareness.

Physical condition: Need to have sufficient physical and healthy state to handle heavy # headlamp material and long standing work.

Quality awareness: requires high attention and rigorous attitude to the quality of headlamp products, and be able to check and report the possible problems of head lighting and headlamp mechanism.

Education and experience: Usually requires a relevant degree in optical or thermal engineering, as well as experience in the field of headlamp product design and headlamp electronics technology.

3.Technical ability: skilled in using CAD software for headlamp design, understand the circuit design of electronic components and headlights. Innovation and problem solving skills: Innovative thinking, able to address the headlamp design and headlighting engineering challenges, is required.

4 .Production management personnel:

Organization and leadership: to be able to coordinate the production process of the headlamp workshop, manage the headlamp production team, and ensure the headlamp production schedule and headlamp quality control. Production plan: Make the headlamp production plan, coordinate the related resources of the headlamp, and ensure the production efficiency and delivery time of the headlamp.

5. Quality Controller: Quality standard: understand the quality standard of headlamp products, perform the quality inspection, record and report the unqualified products of headlights. Measurement and testing: Use the relevant measurement and testing tools for various headlights to ensure that the manufactured headlamp products meet the specifications.

6. Sales and marketing personnel: Communication skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to cooperate with headlamp customers, understand the headlamp market needs. Sales skills: understand the characteristics of the headlamp products, can effectively promote the headlamp products, to achieve the headlamp sales target.

7. Buyer : Supply chain management: responsible for purchasing the headlamp raw materials and headlamp parts, negotiating the price and delivery conditions with the headlamp parts suppliers to ensure the smooth supply chain of headlights.

8.Researcher: Innovation ability: responsible for the research and development of new headlamps, we need to have the ability of headlamp innovation and head lighting experiment, in order to launch competitive headlamp products in the market.
